- 92% are satisfied with their cell phone service.
- Only 12% think there are not enough regulations on their cell phone service.
- 74% believe adding new state government regulations on cell phone service would make their service more expensive.
So, why are state lawmakers in Phoenix considering legislation that would threaten the affordability and accessibility of wireless services for 4.4 million Arizonans? Good question. Especially since this legislation would do nothing to enhance the quality or coverage of Arizona’s wireless services, and could actually make it worse by slowing the growth of wireless networks in both the urban and rural areas of the state.
Higher costs for wireless are particularly harmful to those on fixed budgets such as seniors, working families, and small businesses.
